Call Updates
This year we held the designer and model open call on Sunday February 19th and March 4th. The auditions went well and we had a great turnout. We thank everyone who came to the audition. There was such a wide diversity of people from New Haven and all over Connecticut interested in being part of this event. It is so exciting to see this event flourish and spread Liberty’s important mission to end homelessness and support those in need in our community.
At this time the Project Style Creative Team is still reviewing all of our applicants.

DESIGNER & MODEL CASTING CALL
Seeking fashion designers and models to participate in a New Haven fashion show
benefiting Liberty Community Services

When:
February 19th & March 4th
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Contest Rules:
1. Create a full sketch of a gown. Season Spring 2012, in the theme of Spring Fantasy
2. Fabric swatches should be included with sketch for review
3. Include a written description and inspiration of the gown
4. Please submit a brief bio stapled to the sketch,description, and swatch
5. The Judges will review all submitted sketches and select designers
6. The designers that have been chosen will meet for an interview. You will be contacted with
dates and times.
7. If your sketch is chosen, you must be able to create and sew the dress to meet the Judges’
standards.
Important Dates:
DRESS REHEARSAL – Sunday, May 6th
SHOW – Wednesday, May 9th

Sonia Baghdady is an Emmy-award winning anchor for News 8 at 5pm, 5:30pm. and 11pm.
We are so fortunate for her ongoing support of Liberty, Project Style, and the greater New Haven community.
